Amy began playing the guitar at age 12 and began performing at age 13.  Locally and regionally she has had lots of great opportunities.  Some of the the highlights of her career include:

  • Performing at Nashville North USA, Taylorville,Il before Nashville artists Aaron Tippin and David Lee Murphy.
  • Winning 1st place at her county fair talent contest and going on to represent her county at the the state level and winning 2nd place there.
  • Claiming the title of Illinois State University Idol in 2002.
  • Being a regular guest artist at New Salem Country Opry in Petersburg,IL.  The best group of musicians in the world!
  • Numerous festivals, fundraisers, and gala events including Chili fests, garden walks, Christmas walks, political fundraisers,and community fundraisers in central Illinois.

During college, Amy was employed by Potbelly Restaurants and sang and played her heart out to many hungry customers! She could be seen at various coffee houses and campus venues. She is a favorite at weddings and church services all across the state. Amy graduated cum laude and an Honor's Program scholar with a B.M. in music therapy from Illinois State University. Amy's new adventure takes her to Nashville where she continues to play various venues including The Nashville Palace. This is where she continues to meet many folks that encourage and inspire her in this journey!
