Amy can be seen performing regularly at the Nashville Palace (only a few steps from her dream stage at the Grand Ole Opry.) She started out in Nashville by sitting in with bands at Tootsies until she got her own job at Tootsies & the Nashville Palace. After growing up in Taylorville, IL, where she was a well-known singer & guitar player she got married and graduated college. Through songwriting & performing, Amy strives to bring joy & truth to other people's lives.
Amy is devoted to sharing her God-given talent with others. Besides performing, she developed a music program for children that she implemented in her community. She also teaches private music lessons and works in homes and nursing homes using music therapy and performance to lift other’s spirits. She graduated from Illinois State University, cum laude, in December of 2006 and became a board-certified music therapist. Most recently, she volunteers at a hospital in Nashville, TN.
